Here at the Zeagler Duck Farm, me and my husband started a hobby to share with our two first grand kids and we have grown to a Huge Variety of Ducks, Quail, Chickens, Turkeys, and Geese. We have ducks from the variety of call ducks and large ducks and medium ducks, exotic ducks, we are DUCK poor. We love all our animals and decided to make a web page to share our farm animals with people local and world wide. So this web site is under development and we will be adding pictures and experiences to share with you and your family. Oh, by the way, my spelling is terrible, so excuse any misspellings. Me and my website is a work in progress.

Just in case you are not aware, (laughing) our temps are above the 100's, you can not ship adults or yet I will not ship adults in these dangerous temps.

Just in case you do not know or aware this time of year (JUNE-AUGUST), the feathered animals do not all lay regular, it is off season, molting, etc. for them, I do not force feed, short feed, add lighting, take lighting, to make any of my feathered children to lay by tricking them with seasons. I do appreciate you and you are a valued customer, but the life span of animals should not be shorten by tricking and getting them to lay more than nature allows. Do you know the Cortunix quail's life span is 2-yrs, because of the 1,ooo egg per year this is for one hen laying naturally A THOUSAND EGGS ONE HEN, wow??
So, before you buy from me or any one else, and you want to hatch eggs, think about the quality of egg for this time of year. IT IS HOT, HOT, HOT in DEEP SOUTHERN GEORGIA, (laughing), and on the news, it looks like it is every where in the WORLD!!!

I want to share my newest experience, I wanted to purchase some new ducks, the ducks I wanted were beautiful wild water fowl, there are numerous sellers that have Federal permits to sell them, So, I bought a pair of duck with a 3-186, not knowing there are LOCAL AND STATE laws along with the FEDERAL laws, just because a person has a PERMIT to sell or BUY Migratory birds, don't mean you can possess them legally as pets or for resale!!! Now you will find on the GA DNR website two permits to have these if you are a teacher or scientific study. I assume this is how so many people in Georgia are getting by with it if you see any of these Migratory Birds, don't just ASSUME, KNOW YOUR LAW's!

All migratory game birds protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act are illegal to possess in Georgia.
So, you can find the links to both state and federal on my link I visit page, before you spend hundreds of dollars for a pair of ducks, make sure you know your state and local laws, I sure didn't!! Now having said that yeah, other states can have these ducks or birds, or geese, but NOT GEORGIA, so I am going to attempt to find out how to change this LAW, I love wood ducks, shell ducks, and all geese, and want to raise, sell, and release them on our property for reproduction in the wild. So, if any one wants to assist with getting help to change this law, please let me know.

However, as an fyi, the 2010 session of the Georgia General Assembly ended on April 29th and legislation cannot be introduced until they convene again next January (for the 2011 legislative session). Also, Senator's are elected every 2 yrs, this is election year for YOUR SENATOR!!!!
The possession of migratory ducks, mourning doves, and a few other migratory birds that are game birds is regulated in several places including OCGA 27-1-3, 27-1-27, 27-1-31, plus any of several laws in OCGA 27-2 and 27-3 relating to possession of wildlife for specific purposes and hunting. The possession of non-game wildlife, which includes most migratory birds, is also regulated by OCGA 27-1-28.
Our society can SHOOT these birds, but we can't raise them to love and admire or to replace the losses. I eat duck, I am not saying we don't or and not saying there is anything wrong with hunting, we eat off our land, my husband hunts, buys hunting and fishing license, for all seasons of what ever he desires to hunt. My husband follows all the hunting regulations and laws. But I can't RAISE the same thing he is KILLING????
What is wrong with that LAW?????

It scares me, I really mean it~~ My taxes pay for politicians to rent sleazy motel rooms, and have unprotected, adultry sex with hookers and pay for the hookers with my taxes also, but, my politicians do not have enough time to address my isssues, or sign a email, I wonder~~~ do you recon if I hire them a HOOKER or TWO, and RENT them a MOTEL room at the local DUMP, and jump out them CLOSET, they would make time for me,
~~~ NAH~~~ they would like always tell me what I want to hear and get me out the DOOR!!!!!!
PLEASE HELP ME MAKE A DIFFERENCE, for our decendents, mine and your great, great, great, great, great generations to come GRANDCHILDREN!!!!
I do not even know if I am voting this year, I just feel like, I do not make a difference, and I am sick to death of the government telling me what I can and can not do in my personal business, but they just keep raising my taxes and spending my hard earn money on thereselves, while I am trying to sell a duck to feed a duck!!!!
